Agreed like this lot. I love this time period and the mixture of Medieval/oriental influences.

thank you to all, these figures are very pleasing to paint
-
I still don't know how you get them to glow Daniel :)
Lovely job as usual. The flag is great ;)
-
X2! I noticed the glow as well; almost like the sun was shining though the fabric, but not so bright that it washes out the colors.
You should try this on lingerie... :o

Truly beautiful work! Noticed what looks like the Star of David on the flag, does the symbol have a different meaning for Islam. Or this particular flag?

The lights/shadows on the banner are very impressive!
Well done the whole - very nice!

thanks again
The Star of David is named as the Seal of Solomon. It is a symbol used by Muslims, for example, it appears on the mosque of Testour in Tunisia
The gold of banner is made with Mars orange (Lefranc) + chrome yellow deep (Lefranc) , lights with Naples yellow (Sennelier)

Thank you Daniel, not only a lesson in art but a bit of historical education as well!
Double my pleasure, double my fun! ;)
