Dear BFFS,
I was looking on Glorious Empires website re: their Murten range of flat figures and was
disappointed to see that they were apparently no longer available. I contacted GE and
Jacques Vullinghs replied saying
"The Murten flats are not in the shop because we were waiting for individual photos for these sets,
and in waiting it drifted away….
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we will start to put the sets in next week,
we can deal with individual figures outside of the shop via email. Feel free to share this info,
it all helps."
So I thought I'd send Jacques info to be posted on the noticeboard.

These sets still can not be seen on the webpages of GE.
Is there any development concerning the availability of these Murten figures???
I have sent also a mail to GE, but haven't received answer yet.
Thanks and best regards-
Sandor

These are also carried by Berliner Zinnfiguren who I am guessing order them from GE. However, they have them in stock. I believe there are 5 30mm sets. He sells some figures in 54mm as well.
Part of these are in our galleries under Glorious Empires:

Hannibal,
Thanks for the link. Understand now.

I assume these are not the original Blum / Gottstein figures. Does anyone know who the engraver is for these pieces? Looks like a great set.
-
No, these are produced by Glorious Empires. Some of them match figures from the Gottstein set or more correctly the drawings. Others are based on a theater in the round picture of the battle -

Not sure of the engraver though I am guessing Lepeltier who Jacques uses quite frequently and this looks like his style. Beautiful figures.

Thanks Mark - I had seen them on the Scholtz website and had been wondering about them. I'm going to get my pudgy hands on them - especially now that the Blum figures are off the market
