Excellent work Eric!
I like your 30 mm crusaders figures (can be seen e.g. in the Gallery) but this larger figure may be even better!!
For the hauberk and helmet you used metallic steel/silver with some blue hue didn't you?
Or it is still painted the classic way using grey and white tones?
Best regards-

I like it too, the way you have painted the white is excellent Eric.
-
Thank you all
This figure is really pleasant
White is always a challenge
Metallic parts heve been painted on the bare metal with several layers of blue, violet and payne grey
When the figure will be well dry I come back on it for a few details and shadows
I will see how it goes during the drying time

I like it very much; white and metallic parts are very well done Eric
-
Excellent painting !!!! white and metal are really fantastic !
-
X2! The metals all seem to be polished as would befit a king. The helmet reflecting blue sky is a nice touch.

Did you paint the background Eric? It looks great.
-
Yes, Roger, I did
It is from an old drawing showing Jerusalem walls
Painted with oil on paper

I thought you must have Eric, it looks really good. I've got to have a go at something like that myself.
-
Excellent work and very nice finish Eric - with the background and the frame.
The painting of the figure is outstanding.
For those who are interested in it, here is a representation of the walls of Jerusalem in the ancient times:
