After a long break (I was painting 1/72s for a project) I came back to my beloved flats. Inbetween I have changed the type of colour, after using artistic acrylics for years, I´m now using Vallejos. This needs in some manner a new start. So this is the first flat figure. I am also trying to use the NMM technique for metals, practise, practise...

the other figure, the happy Pascha, is painted with artists acrylics. Feel the difference (if there is one).

Hi Roland,
This little, beautiful Szene looks pretty good already! How comes you changed the type of colorproduct? Vallejo is the Acrylicpaintstuff, with it I made/make my first tries to paint with a different medium than oil. I like them very much, after finding out my technical way of handle this colors. But still not on a satisfying level. Still a lot to practice and learn. Your Szene looks already very, very good! I will follow close to see the Szene finish! Greetings, Julia

Thank you for your nice words. I am always practising....next step is painting high-sophisticated 33mm Fantasy-Figures. Then back to flats with new skills. I hope.
Have a good and "paintfull" new Year.
