Title: Kaiser Wilhelm II.
Post by: Silversurfer on November 24, 2015, 02:38:43 PM
Hello Folks,

this will be my first entry on this forum.
[attachimg=1]This figure represents the last German Emperor Kaiser Wilhelm II. as Colonel in Chief of the Regiment Garde du Corps. The manufactor is Wenglewski
(via Wilken Zinnfiguren). It is complete painted in oil.

Nicely done! The light direction seems to be coming from various directions. Was this deliberate - sort of a halo effect above the figure?

Thank you Nicholas and Glen for your kind words! The light effect is caused by the curvature of the cuirass. You can see this effect on some photos.
