A high scale figure by Benedikt Widmann, inspired by a Van der Meulen painting, Louis XIV at the siege of Besançon
I confess that I was not convinced at first sight and I wait a little before buying it
The general attitude is good but there are not many details so the painting work is most important
I dare to say that I am quite happy with the result

Well done Eric, the figure has the look like some of the old flats I have ;)
Maybe have a go at this one!!

Wonderful work Eric.I like the colour of the horse very much. That inspires me for the next figure of Löuis staff from Bretegnier I have to paint......

Hi Eric,
I am very happy to read, that you are satisfied with that Figure. I am the engravingmother ;-). So glad, that you don't throw stones to the engraver :-D ha... ha….Greetings, Julia
As I told you already, the painting is great!

Hi all I placed the figure on a base to add a little "majesty"
I am satisfied :D :D
Julia the figure is well done because it is not easy to catch the particular style of this time's horses
I also do prefer when engraving is not too much detailed

Hi Eric,
The Figure looks great with the Base! The Base is real nice! I should make one for my Louis. He is on the naked ground :(
Greetings, Julia
