As some of you know I have a thread at Treefrogtreasures toy soldier web site where I "show the flag" of my love for the art of the flat by showing my collection as I aquire it.
In the process I have made a good friends in the hobby one is a very fine gentleman, Johnny Bach or JB as he goes by. He is an "old school" toy soldier man, does great work with traditional toy soldiers, restoring old glossy's are his specialty. He is quite good digging out historical reference material and did a supurb job with a group of knights in acurate heraldry recently, he does wonderful work. In the process of reading my thread he has become interested and quite accomplished in translating his style to the "glossy" flat.
