Thats the slightly ridiculous parade of cobbled up kultur that appears on TV progs about Nazis every 5 minutes .It was even on last night . Well it was the umteenth repeat Family Guy or Himmler trying to find an original Tacitus.I always wondered what the parade was called .Thats certainly a great set regardless of its dodgy origins.Turns out Tacitus got it right .
ps I bet auto translate of this will be very interesting .

in Germany it´s only allowed to show these figures of Babette Schweitzer in a museum;
privat you´ll get a lot trouble

Simon Hoggett wrote a series of articles on the history and origin of these figures - Journals 79-83.
