Title: David and Goliath
Post by: errant49 on December 20, 2012, 03:58:57 PM
Famous sets from Hafer

The first one :
I recently bought David painted by Douchkine in an auction, but there was no Goliath !
As I had it unpainted I did it
So this set has a Douchkine David and a Talmant Goliath

The second one:
David and Bathseba
Same thing; two figures are painted by Douchkine and two by myself; guess which ones !

Quite nice and interesting stylistically - its a toss up.

Am a bit worried about David though - what is he smiling about!  Typical over confident young pup.

Nice one Eric.
If this is the Christmas quiz. I think the first two figures are Douchkine. (or is it the second two! No its the first two!. No its the second two!) Great match
Are these late Douchkine?
Merry Christmas
Mike

Douckine    2  + 4

If this is correct, it's even more impressive, just look at the colours of the bases and shadows, Mr. T has matched them spot on.

Do I win a peanut yet ?   ;D ;D :D :D
