Post by: errant49 on August 20, 2015, 03:19:37 PM
Hi all
This figure was one of my Kulmbach purchase
Vladimir once again mad a great work
Design, engraving, casting, everything is perfect
A real pleasure to paint and I could not wait anymore; so I stopped everything else
Here is my version

very good Eric ;)

you have light from more than one place, but as it's a fantasy piece, I don't think that matters. :)

yours is lit up like a Christmas tree mate ;D ;D ;D ;D

seriously though a very nice bit of painting, probably your best so far ;)

I have to say it is an extremely interesting, well designed and a superbly engraved piece from Vladimir.

Out of interest, yesterday, I sent Vladimir 3 designs that I had of Mikes, (1 of which had 2 variants) which Mike gave me when I last saw him.
Vladimir was very interested in them and so I have sent them to him. I have a feeling we will be seeing a few more of Mike's designs coming our way  :)

Nicely done, Brian! Between the Carroll and Dali, I can't help thinking there's a bit of Timothy Leary in there as well...

Did you finish off the Elf Ranger yet?
