Well, I wouldn't say I was slow, but I was given this a couple of years ago to paint for a friend!!  Finally finished :o

I have told him that quality can't be rushed!! think I may have got away with that-- just! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Very nice detailed work!
I particularly like the feathers, but the glove is also excellent!
What is the measure (height) of the figure?
Best regards-
sandor

Beautiful Nick  !!!!    :) :) :)   First painting I see of this plate.
I would however gove some shadow on the left and borrm side on the aisle, looking too flat ...

Hidden depths Nick.  Really beautifully done for what I suspect is a difficult figure to pull off.

Thank You All,

Not my usual subject, nice but would I do another one?  :-\  not my first choice, and yes, fairly difficult with the feathers, and not making them too heavy.

would try something along the same lines, but would have to be a very very  good mate ;)  ;D ;D

The colours haven't really shown up on the photo,  especially the Paynes grey on the arm etc.

Sandor, it's 125mm high, so fairly large and bulky. I think it's from Benedict of Juniper miniatures.
