Hello
I´m new to this Forum and I like to show you some of my figures for the frist time.
They are imperial curassieres from the thirty years war and edited by Mr. Dangelmaier.
The painting is done with acrylic colours on a black base coat.
I hope you enjoy it.
Christoph

very nice Cristoph, very clean painting. Thanks for posting, :)

This style of painting is quiet extraordinary, like a comic !
It gives less priority to the unique direction of lighting as usually required for normal flat painting, and the systematic dark lining of all surface gives an incredible accuracy and readability of the détails, even the tiniest !!
Christoph is the second (unless same painter) I've seen so far, the 'other' painting is painting flats from the secession and indian american wars.
The clear and faded colours also are providing a special ambiance to these paintings. They would well fit dioramas in black and white ...
Beautiful !!!

Yes, these are quite stunning. Welcome and thank you for sharing - really like these fellows.

Well done! The painting style reminds me of watercolor illustrations ...and yes, comic art - between the old style and the more modern computer generated images.
