Title: scale 30mm
Post by: willie on May 14, 2015, 04:20:51 PM
I have a question ???  about scale. Is 30mm equal to 1/48 scale trains, planes, tanks. I know 1/48 scale is what we call O gage in the states. I built more Circus Wagons for my Dads model Circus in this scale than you can shack a stick at :P . What I am think about doing is building two WW I planes for my Royal Flying Corps set I have.  Willie

Hello Willie,

30 mm is equal to 1/55 scale; so we can“t use a lot of models for trains in HO (1/87) or O.
But in a diorama you can put the 30 mm figures in the background.

Best regards

Michael
