Some chaps I picked up on E-bay but, no sure of the maker. Bases are marked KZ and some with an 'I' or Roman Numeral "II" with engravers marks from Ludwig Frank, Sixtus Maier as well as WS and the mysterious B. They are number in the T, TL or TR range telling me I have a bit of mix.
Still fun figures hard at work mucking after the nags.

Dear Mark,
these are Thiel figures. You may find a list and some details here at my site

Thank you Alexander, I suspected as much and have loved your site for years by the way. They used quite a range of first class engravers a pity they are not easier to get.

Dear Mark,
thank you . But you have a possibility to get Thiel flats occasionally at Kulmbach. Mr. Meinecke (ask for him at Mr. Reisbergs table) usually brings some sets of Thiel flats from the moulds in possession of Mr. Knoll.
Thiel (incl. the Biebel and Brandt figures overtaken) and Mignot are for me the two most important editors for Napoleonic flats
