I recently bought some figures on E-bay. There were two figures that I do not know who made them. The figures are marked DKK 10a and 10b. They represent Kunigunde and Dom zu Bamberg. Does anyone know who made them? The engraver is Lecke.

Oh dear, nobody appears to be able to assist. Let us know if you ever find out, Bernt.

No idea but the figure is nice

I have not heard anything yet, but I think I will find someone in Kulmbach who knows. I know that Erich Kästner has written on Dom of Bamberg. But his figures are usually marked "Kästner". I have started to paint the figure. Much remains. The figure is 30mm.

Hello Bernt,
the bavarian blue/white looks good. I´ve got an old Kästner list somewhere and I´ll do a look in it.
Best regards

Hello Bernt,
yesterday I found my old Kästner list. 1987 he edited a figure "750 years Bamberger Dom", but it´s another figure with
Heinrich II., Kunigunde and a model of the dom in the middle of both.
Best regards

Hello Bernt,
this is a part of the series "Deutsche Könige und Kaiser" / "German Kings and Emperors". The Serie was initiated from Dr. Vollrath with the collectors from vienna. All flat were designed by Mano Winter and engraved by Lecke. The series contains around 100 pieces, Kings, Queens, Emperors and additional pieces. Starting from Carolus Magnus and closed by Franz II. But I don´t know actually owner of the moulds.
Best regards
Henry

Thanks for the reply. Ochel have some of the molds but it seems that they do not have these figures.

I have now finished painting Kunigunde. It was fun to paint it, although I would not have bought it if I found it in Kulmbach.
