I recently obtained this figure, I have narrowed down the time to Electoral of Palatinate of which was ruled by the Wittelsbach Dynasty 1401-1460 ruled by Albert III.
But does this figure represent an individual? it looks like mp45 on the elongated triangle shaped base

This fellow is also represented on Gianpaolo Bistulfi's site with the title Bavarian knight:
http://www.zinnfiguren-bistulfi.com/galleria/torneo_cavalleresco.html (http://www.zinnfiguren-bistulfi.com/galleria/torneo_cavalleresco.html)
It says Schweriner Zinnfiguren- Incisione :L.Frank
It looks like your identification of the heraldry is spot on which should help in IDing the fellow.

Nice paintwork!
Did you paint the steel armour - or left blank and polished up the tin material?
Best regards:

Gianpaolo wrote an article about these knights in Journal 66. The rest of the series can be seen here: http://www.modellbau-holland-merten.de/details_figuren_flach_sonstige/te12.htm

I think the first editor was Hans Müller/Erfurt (1885-1968). Berliner Zinnfiguren sells all 5 parts, too.
Best regards

Thank you all for the information, the link to where the extended sets are available is most helpful! a great series of figures, I actually bought this figure from a German seller, it was already painted.
