Title: General and aide de camp first empire
Post by: errant49 on February 05, 2015, 08:09:57 AM
Glorious Empires 54mm figures engraved by Daniel Lepeltier
Painted with oil
Very agreable to paint even if imperial blue is not an easy color

Somptuous !!

Indeed the imperial blue is so dark, that it cannot accept a lot of highlight.
We have to create highlights to give 3D effect to these sizes artificially.

I've got some of these. Very nicely done.

Eric, are you doing these for the Museum in Germany for their Waterloo display?

I did not hear about this Waterloo display
But anyway these figures will probably be sold as most of my Napoleonics so that I can continue my oldies collection !
