Title: Happy New Year!
Post by: marko on December 31, 2014, 02:23:15 PM
Happy New Year all!

I made the happy discovery yesterday afternoon that today was a day off for me - YEAH NIKE!

In wandering through the figures this morning I realize last year was an impressive year for acquisition and also painting as it turns out.  I was able to acquire several of my 'most wanted' sets and have a pleasing variety to paint.

Today it is Retter Greek Olympians and Gladiators along with a Go Camel Rider from the French Revolution.  (Working on the Olympians has re-emphasized Mohr's engraving skills - man the fellow performed beautiful work, always a pleasure to work on one of his figures.)

Happy New Year ALL!!

A safe and sane New Year everyone!

This year, step out of your comfort zone and painting something that you wouldn't ordinarily give a second glance. Embrace the diversity...
