I had my eyes on these figures on e-Bay but as the became rather expensive, and that I already had a few of them, I let them go. Beautiful figures with a lot of painting potential, which I know you Eric will be the right painter to make good use of, as you now already have shown!
Furhbach´s figures are hard to find today.

I like the great engraving done on these figures Eric and you do a magnificent job bring them to life!
How many hours would you estimate you spend working on Flats in a day?
Ray

Hi Ray
My wife is very kind and she likes what I do
So she left me plenty of time to paint, especially in winter
I am a happy man :) :) :)

This is fantastic Eric!
I have the 54mm version of this painting done by Quadri Concept I think - in my case nearly done for a couple of years...

Bravo!!!!
Amazing the level de détails given to the subject. I am really impressed....

A new one; I can't stop painting them
Eric

figure unreadable for me !!

I re upload
-
Thanks, perfect !!!!

You have done it again Eric well done ;)
How dose this work, you have detail painters like Nick, Ed And Chris that produces lovely work, and then a total different style and you get movement and light, it's great this painting lark!!! ;D ;D

A new one ...

Bravo again, except perhaps some rough melting of the highlighted folds of the pant (I mean not so smooth)...
But you give a lot of movment to your figures !!! It is quiet unique.... et compared to some very accurate détailed painters, giving a 'like a 1/10,000 sec photograph", yours have this magic feeling of 'moving' and real 'life' ! Therefore when the subject fits with tis painting, it is fantastic.

Thank you Michel
I am not a "soft" painter and I belong to the Leliepvre or Douchkine schools
The paint brush stroke takes part in the volume of the figure
I always prefer to appreciate the general look of a figure and its readability (as you rightly say in another forum) than using a magnifier to see the details
But it is just a question of feeling and taste and years ago I painted differently, more like Mike Taylor with a very smooth way

And a new one

Here is the ninth figure
