I saw that but I am afraid the casting is not very good

Maybe it is interesting.

Some of the moulds from Fohler are revised from Offizin Kovar.

You can see the catalogue at www.zinnfigurenoffizin-kovar.info
The casts from Kovar are normally very good.
There are some unusual subjects like Sereschaner Infantry oder Pandurenkorps Trenck.
Best Wishes
Gerhard

It is interesting that Kovar has a part of the Fohler figures in his catalogue.
Is Kovar casting the figures for Nußbaum (who also sells old books)?
Then all the casting should be very good. (I have some Kovar Originals)

I bought three Osman figures one week ago as a test, to examine the quality of the engraving and also of the moulding.  From the photographs, they don't look so exceptional.
The serie is interesting, because of the many postures, but we must have fun and ease to paint them, and not start with an heavy préparation work before painting each of them.

Hallo friends of flats,
there are a nice picture of the Osman artillery 1683 on the Bistulfi page.
If you wants to build a 1683-siege of vienna diorama these days be careful and let the Osmans win...

Best regards

Michael
