Title: Elephants
Post by: errant49 on November 16, 2014, 10:03:46 AM
Hi all
My last born : two elephants
A nubian one issued by Heinrichsen around 1920 in 28mm; not the standard of the big Frank elephants, but a nice attitude and rather easy to paint
A big Carthaginian from Ochel, engraved by Frank, with a fierce attitude and very intricated

Hallo Eric,
a nice painting; I like your style.
Frank engraved all Heinrichsen moulds between 10/1899 and 10/1924. So it could be a early Frank engraving.

Best regards

Michael

You have done it again both elephants are lovely. My favourite is the Cartaginian probably because of the ornate nature.
