Title: Napoleonic staff in 35 mm edited by Gottstein
Post by: Michael_43 on November 04, 2014, 02:45:20 AM
Hallo friends of flats,
today I´ll show the napoleonic staff in 35 mm edited by Gottstein and painted by Otto Glaser/Leipzig.
35 mm figures where produced by Rieche/Hannover and others in the north of Germany until the KLIO
decided 1930 in Leipzig 30 mm as standard. After 1930 Rieche produced 30 mm figures, too.
The first picture shows on the right side the unpainted figures of a casting by Krog some years ago.
Krog edited 5 Gottstein figures in 35 mm. Here is the hole staff. The design is not like the other toy-like Rieche figures.
Otto Glaser is a father of detailed painting and he painted a lot of flats for Gottstein Dioramas for the exhibition
in Leipzig 1930.

best regards

Michael

Thank you for sharing  this
I saw this set on EBay and nearly bid on it but I bought something else
It is a nice set and it is interesting to see the evolution of the painting way from the beginning of the 1920-1930 till now

Yes, this is a sweet little set - you immediately can identify all of the characters.  Very nice, thanks for the look.
