Well it's the local Gravesham show tomorrow, and a few of us are attending as usual.
not sure if we have a table, as we are not shown on their programme!!! however not a problem, more time to mix, chat and network ;)

An enjoyable day meeting back up with good friends, but quite frankly a terrible day for traders!
I suppose it's due to the economy, ( or lack of advertising ) but the public just don't seem to attend these smaller shows at the moment.
not that impressed either when club/ society members who were invited were then asked to pay an entrance fee as well. I have already heard of 2 clubs that are considering not going next year!!!
Clubs and Traders make the shows, at least try to treat them with some respect! This is not a money making exercise, but to get kids and Joe Public interested in a very interesting and enjoyable hobby.
The competition tables were rather empty, but what was on show definately made up for it.
Congratulations to Frank Collins, Gerry Larkin ( our mate Gary! ;D ) and Rob Henson on their awards
they were very well deserved, it would be nice to see a few Chappettes in there as well.

As the year draws to an end I have covered over 7 shows handing out flyers for the VA Military Museum, The Air Museum and there shows. Toy Soldiers shows, and IPMS Convention and War Games convention, Military Miniatures shows. I also wore my shirt for the society. Next year looks good for shows. I was wondering do you have any cards I could get from you to hand out I can send you flyers about the shows I will be at and also the military museums around Hampton Roads and the DC area. Willie
