Title: Help
Post by: closerlookbooks on June 25, 2014, 03:08:05 PM
Marilyne Neurohr suggested we post an article with photos of Vladimir Douchkine's work. To do such a work, we would need those of you with any of his work in your collection to send us photos. Marilyne has a couple of works. Jim Horan sent me a couple of photos of Vladimir Douchkine's work as well. Do you happen to have any in your collection? Would you be willing to take a digital photo of it and send it for the benefit of the article? We can also create a gallery of his work. I appreciate any help you can give us on this project.
Please send photos to: closerlookbooks@mac.com

P.S. We can only publish photos of pieces you own. We must be careful not to infringe on the copyright laws relating to the book of his work published by Alexander Baden. We plan to feature or advertise his book in the article.

Good idea that you are going to present more Douckine works.
It may be worth while contacting Treasureisland on E bay as they have featured several of his works for sale lately, they may well allow you to have photos from their sales catalogue.
Most of the figures offered have not featured in Alex Badens book so would be fresh

I have the book about the Douchkine works from Alexander Baden.
It is a wonderful book full of this masterpieces of art.
Two month ago I did meet Mister Baden at the local collector club in Hamburg.
He did present some Douchkine figures - old egyptians - that will be in the new book.
I will buy this book when available.

You may be interested to know that the book on the Heinrichsen figures "AUS EINEM GUSS" contains a few painings by Douchkine as well as some by Leopold Rieche
