For those of us attending MFCA this weekend in Valley Forge, Pa, I will again be calling together a "rump session" (unofficial) meeting of the BFFS at Noon on Saturday in the food court just outside the registration table. I will announce it over the P.A., as in the past.
Hope to see many of you there.

DO take some great pictures too please?
Many years ago I lived near King of Prussia - PA and found out about the yearly MFCA show the year after we moved - still a bit bitter as I also am now on a separate coast.
Hope it is a great show and smashing get together of Flatees.

Sorry I will not be there, Pat. Will be on a Med cruise.
Please remember Carl Gruen...without him, many of us would have never painted a flat.
He was a good friend of mine and I miss him.
Thanks,
Kevin
PS...henceforth, the Long Island Club will present the Carl Gruen Memorial Award at our annual exhibition for the best flat.

Shockingly poor trip planning, Kevin, ;D but I understand.
Yes we will remember Carl. :( My friend too!
I will report on MFCA on my return with pictures of all the flats. Stay tuned.
Thanks for the well-wishes. I wish you all could be there - just like I'd like to be there for Euro this year.
That gets me thinking - always dangerous. Maybe we should add a travel service and discounted travel rates to our member benefits. ;D
BTW, the "official" Hawaiian Shirt color for this year's MFCA is Bright Yellow. Look for me and my crew as you make your rounds and say hello.

I am starting to pack this afternoon. Might not sleep tonight :)

A GREAT MFCA was had by all! I will be posting pictures from the show as soon as I can. Catherine Cesario-Pousson and Richard were there again this year. She brought a stunning piece that won a gold and best flat. I wish my French were better. :(
Thanks to all who said hello and attended our ad hoc meeting.
