Title: Northampton!! 26th May

Northampton model show in a few weeks, BFFS and 2D Figurines will be there with tables so if your going bring some of your work for the table and lets all see  :D

Well! we came we saw and had a great time  ;D  lots of figures sold and not just to a BFFS member!!   Nick walked away with "Best Of Show" big well done mate, Chris filled most of the table with his figures with help from Nick and well good it looked too, no room for my stuff this time ;D
Telling you people are noticing the great world of the flat figure  ;)
Big thanks to the clubs that put the show on and fingers crossed we'll be back next year!!

Which of Nick's figs won BoS and has anyone got anymore photo's of the show?

Hey, it's bubbles the monkey again!!!!! What a great looking chap  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Wasn't a competition, but they gave awards for the best table and best figure on a table.

Roger, they chose Fairybirth as the best.

As Brian said, the flats are becoming very popular, and when they start getting the best of show from all the shows, you know they have finally become a serious contender to the rounds.

Although, it could just be that the 3 Amigos were once again causing mayhem in their tracks to get the publicity !!!!!   ;D ;D ;D ;D
Also    A big  THANK YOU to Christine ( Brian's wife) for having to put up with us and being dragged out for the day to help on the stands.

I would also like to welcome an old friend  rsc12lhv  ( another Roger!!!! ;D  is this one as quick with the brushes--- we will have to wait to see!!!  ;D ;D ;D)  who hopefully will introduce himself in the Newbie section.

I think it's because they are so different and so diverse from Military figures that they actually get noticed more.

Coupled with your outstanding paintnjob Nick you're probably right, they are very eye catching and something different from the norm.
