Here is my version
colors for Mike :
* Sap green (90%) + alizarin crimson
* clearer : titane white + indian yellow
* darker : indanthrene blue

that's an interesting colour Daniel, from the photo, it looks like Mike is in Greyscale?
I look forward to seeing this progress ;) :)

Hello Daniel,
there is a nice color picture of Mike Taylor in his German book about flats.
It show´s him in front of the Alice in the Wonderland statue in the Central Park of New Yourk Nov. 2000.
He wears a grey jacket, a washed blue jeans trousers and black shoes.
Best regards
Michael

Well, at last it worked !
-
the picture is on the homepage of www.edition-krannich.de ; "Zum Gedenken an Mike Tylor".
-
Thank's Michael, but I chose to make Mike in greyscale
-
it would be boring if every figure look equal ....
-
Really fun stuff - somewhere Mike is smiling one thinks.
Steve Lloyd's site - flattinfigures.com also has several pictures of Mike in color including the one shown here.
