I'm sure I speak for all the committee Charles when I say Thank You . It's nice to know we are moving in the right direction for the members.
Once we get a drawing of the figure from the artist we will take your concerns on board. It would be good to see you at further shows, I also hope that my grammar and elocution are up to your extremely high standards  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I do try to teach these finer points to Brian and Chris, but quite frankly it's like pushing water up hill!!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
They did say however that the AGM was well good!  ::)   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

BFFS Annual Meeting

I thoroughly enjoyed the meeting on Sunday, having missed last year it was great to catch up in person with quite a few members. Picked up a few figures too. Some very nice work on display, and quite a table full too.
Although it was said at the meeting, thanks and congratulations are due to the current committee (returned unopposed) for a successful year and for arranging the day of course. And to Mark, obviously not there, for the website.
I did like the proposed Waterloo figure, a good choice. I hope the chosen designer will agree with me that the drum unbalances the vignette and should be removed or put partially behind the main subject of the two figures.
Good news that the very nice Robin Hood figure looks like it a first for the BFFS, a classy figure that actually recovers it's costs and who knows, makes a profit. Another well done for choice of designer, engraver etc
I really recommend making an effort to get to the annual meeting next year (I prefer the earlier date too), and it has spurred me on to try and attend some of the shows later in the year and give the boys some support. Those of you who just browse the site should really consider full membership, there is a lot more than the website on offer.
