Hello Eric, I'm not sure who the figure is by but I'll see the guy who painted in a day or two and ask ;)

That's a very nice looking display. Well done fella's. One of these days I'll make it to one of the southern shows.

The motley crew turns up at the show and as usual I have to leave to talk to other clubs, not my fault! I was dragged away so Christine, Chris and Nick had to sort the tables out ::)

The rules this year had been changed so flats are only to enter selected classes in the comp, Chris from Shepway had already told us of the change so being more then just flat painters we had Ships, Aircraft, Round figures, Dioramas and of course one or two flats and we still got the shield for the second year ;D we'll be banned next year hahaha

A good show with a few of our local clubs attending, bacon butties were good and the banter was spot on, no raffle prizes for us this year and not many sales of flats but it's a big shame as no one was coming though the door so a day for clubs and traders to talk.

A big thanks to the guys and ladies at Shepway Military Modeling Club we had a good day  :)

Delighted to hear it - we welcome 3-d figures, tanks and trucks as well as flat figures!  There will also be a D-day competition into which any entry made in any of the classes can be entered - providing it has some connection with D-Day (the Overlord one!).  Judging of this class will be by popular vote. The winner will be rewarded with a non-returnable trophy.

We'll look forward to seeing you.

Hi guys

Shepway's show will take place on Saturday 21 Jun 2014.  Same place as last year; Hawkinge Community Centre near Folkestone.  While we still have a class for flat figures, we have altered our classes a bit so you may not be able to wipe the board as successfully as last year!

Could I remind you that the Club Shield which you won last year needs to be returned either before or at this year's show.

Chris
