Hi Eric. I'm not a great fan of metallic paints. It always reminds me of toy soldiers ( I know thats what flats really are) but Im sure some good results can be had with the right toning down and shading. As Charles says you could start a trend.
I think I may have some Rose gold and bronze powder somewhere in the attic. (Packed away in the early 1980's) I also have some gold and silver printers ink that works quite well. (so I'm told).
I will have a look on my return to England.

Nicely done Eric, your metallics do look very shiny, perhaps you will set a new trend and make it fashionable again. I am trying it myself as an experiment but I don't have the Rose powders for highlighting. I have been searching the net, nothing found so far.

Another set from Wolfgang Hafer, design Madlener, engraving Lecke
As you can see I came back to metallic paint which I find much more brilliant; but of course it is just a question of taste
By the way if anybody have an idea where I could fine silver or gold powder like Rose or Humbroll made years ago ...

Very nice painted figure. I agree with Eric that Hafer has many nice biblical figures.

Well done! Reminds me of old world style painting only on a much smaller scale.

By the way I warmly recommand the Bible sets from Hafer
