Beautiful work on display, excellent fluid painting style; also really love to read opinions and feelings on engravers and editors. Very enlightening!

I agree that Doré and Frank are a successful combination. I love Doré's drawing very much.

Hi all


Saladin (Muller, Frank) is certainly one of the nicest figure ever engraved; the combination between Gustave Doré and Ludwig Frank really gives a fantastic result I think I already painted it four or five times but I still find the same pleasure

A few burgundians from Neckel, Gottstein or Blum

And two french infantry men around 1640
