Steve. As you can probably tell I'm steering clear of painting women at the moment. Far too difficult to handle!
The production line is still going but I think this thread has run its course for now.  Thanks again for your comments.

Really nice figures with great faces. If only these were widely available. Thanks for sharing.

I must have a go at silk. Its probably best to look at the old masters for guidance.
With the lack of response regarding the availability of this set I take it that no one knows where the moulds are. It would be great if sets turned up at Kulmbach but thats probably wishful thinking.
Does anyone else have any painted examples of these figures?
And a couple more

The "Mignon" is very well done with typical colors of the time
You could accentuate the contrasts between shadows and highlights to try a "silk" effect

Thanks for looking.  As Eric says the horses in the set are a little odd being a little too long!  The scale also varies in size. Some  of the figures seem a little small for 30mm.
What I like about the set is the Character in the faces.
Heres a couple more.

Wonderful, Mike
Please paint some more !
The figures of the set are not all well designed and engraved, especially horses, but the subject is so interesting
Does anybody knows where are the moulds after the late Paul Krog ?
