Hallo Ed,
many thanks for your feedback. As soon as the figures will be delivered I wil lsend confirmation. In case You, or someone else of the BFFS,  have an idea where I can find the "running highlander" please share with me the information.

Concerning wine: I am an Italian guy so it would be hard you can surprise me on this matter; please,  plan to come to Italy one week, from North to South:  you'll have the chance to taste much more than 250 different wines. Keep in mind in Milan we are going to start with the EXPO another good chance to experience wine and food italian style.

Hope we will have the chance to meet in Kulmbach.

Regards,

Franco.

Well, I survived 250 wines in three and a half hours, and the only damage is to my bank account.
I have been up in my dusty attic, and found eighteen of these RSG figures. As many of the figures illustrated are duplicates, I think they are a good 90% of the set. I don't have the figures with the Highlanders, but there is a group of Sergeant Ewart with the Eagle-bearer of the 45th Ligne. They will be in the post tomorrow. Enjoy them with my compliments, Franco.

Sounds as an acceptable business in this hard times.

Membership has been paid few minutes ago (I already was a memeber in the past but in 2011th I stop it).

My Address is:

Franco Conrotto
via Pozzo di Pantaleo 54
00149 Rome (Italy)

In case anyone other would like to send figures for free  this will help me to change my opinion that "only the trouble are for free"  ;) ;) ;) ;)

Cheers,
Franco

I bought several of these figures in Kulmbach in 1987, painted them badly, and have no further use for them. If you give me a few days, I will find them and send them to you free of charge with my compliments. In return, I only ask that you change your status from Associate to Full Member. Please send me your postal address so I can send them, and the first Journal of 2015 to you.
Very best wishes,
Ed H

Dear Conrotto,

all these figures (incl.  the highlander/scots greys couples) are to my knowledge original figures from Editor Jurdzinski from Hannover who passed away some decades ago. But his figures are no more available. The moulds are in posession of his heirs who neither cast nor sell them. Consequently they are quite rare today.

So the main source is Kulmbach or an auction.

Best regards

Alexander

Second question: about Scott Greys
« Reply #1 on: April 13, 2015, 07:34:24 AM »
Friends,
since the first question has been solved in few second (MANY THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR FEEDBACKS) now I have a second one: what about the Scott-greys in the picture (again a complex question because I guess they comes from different producers)?
The questions are:
Where to find the foot figures?
Do you think Scott-Greys with running Highlander are original figures or "modified" figures and if original, where to find them ?
In the auction I participated (without winning) these figures were classified as Jurdzinski figures. Where to buy such figures ?

Hope I provide you exciting questions to be solved.

Regards,

Franco
