Hi all, you see my avatar is a bike, a figure engraved by Andreas Trost, I'm thinking of adding some more figures like this based on Dave Mann paintings.
First will be "Ghost Rider" just bike and rider, what do you think? would there be interest ;)
Joerg and myself talked about this before but we didn't get to complete, still think it's an idea.
Added a better pick

love the artwork Brian, have you thought of getting an engraver to set this in tin
wouldn't that be something! you don't see too many bikes engraved shame really
Cheers... Gerry

Engraved for tin! that's the idea ;D
-
Or is that engraved in tin ;D ;D ;D I'd like to see this when the metal is pored in, oops look its all melted ;D ;D ;D Maybe Jerry meant put it in a biscuit tin, then bury it. ;D ;D ;D
As Eric said not my cup of tea ( do the Frech drink Tea? thought that was just we gentry ;D ;D ;D
Perhaps he means frog-water ;D ;D ;D)
Nice painting though, I do appreciate a good artist whatever the subject

Mr Ball! a rap on the Knuckles for you! Eric will, I'm sure contest that the French do drink tea!
and Beer and wine the list goes on ;D ;D ;D!@ Brian be nice to see some old Brit bikes engraved
and then maybe a few Harley's too! Nice!! .... Gerry.

Who the hell came up with the idea of tea anyway?
OK chap's, bit hot out here what, I say smithers, go to the river and get some water, mind the croc's though, big buggers might pull you in.
Gramp's always said if it's hot, better to drink warm liquid, so come on Keywid light those logs over there, nice and hot now, big flames, make it manly.
Now I recon the old water being somewhat brown probably won't taste too good, so see the plant, just pull off a few leaves, and drop em in it, give em nice stir, how's your father and all that, and hey presto drink that!!!
WHAT, too bitter Seally why didn't you say so, get a bit of that cane and suck the inside out, local native's recon it s as sweet as treacle.
NOW WHAT, too hot, for goodness sake Larkon, go over to that goat and give it a pull, put the milk in and there you have it.
SO, water, leaf, sugar and milk, what shall we call it???
How about Terrible Sir.
Good choice Keywid, We'll just call it T
Some names have been changed for legal and professional reasons
