Dear friends, a new interview with Eric Talmant has been posted today at http://www.flattinfigures.com/the-work-of-eric-talmant
There are a host of photos and some bits of business you will find of value. Thanks Eric!

Superbly! A very interesting and inspiring interwiew. Eric´s painted figures are very close to Douchkine´s whom he admires. Sometimes he even surpasses him. An extra plus for Eric is that he paints both sides of a figure, an old fine tradition.
I was glad to read the way Eric works, covering the complete figure with colours before shading and highlightning. Sometimes I thought I was the only figurpainter to work this way. This is when seeing other painters demonstrating how they divide up the figur in parts and completely finish a part before enter to next.
The only thing Eric migth improve upon is to find out that Ludwig Frank didn´t spell his name Franck with a c.
