The next figure is the KK-035 "Ritter mit eingelegter Lanze, galoppierend":

@Christoph:
It is funny: my system (that is "invented" on my own  ;) ) is quite similar that of yours: I use double sided tape to fix the figure to a piece of corrugated cardboard (you can even see it on the bottom of the attached pics)and I make there the majority of the painting. For the delicate paintwork (e.g. blazon) I use the very same method like you described: I lay the figure on an other cardboard, sliced to accommodate the plinth.

Have a nice weekend-

Nice painting Sandor,  you are really getting better.

When I'm painting the burgundy banner I normally paint the whole banner blue with lights and shadows. Then I paint the separat fields using the Light and shadow pattern from the blue.

I don't know how you fix your figures for painting. Normally I glue them on top of a wodden board. That works well with normal 30mm figures on foot or horseback. When I'm painting a banner I would do so with the figure itself. When it comes to the banner I cut off the figure from the board and place it on a piece of cardboard with a cutting for the foot plate of the figure. That makes the painting a lot more comfortable for me. See picture below.

An interesting fact about this coat of arms is number of the lillies in the two Valois fields. Normally I would expact the there is a certain number of lillies. But when I checked some original scoures the number differs. Starting with one big lillie in the middle or three rows with three in each up to much more as you have shown it here.

Gosh ! I 'm painting now some Aztecs and decorations, ..
How do you do to reach this level of details in the standards and armories in the 30mm scale ??
This is a devil work !!!!!

Congratulations ...

I would however give some more shadows and highlights in the folds of the caparacon of the standard knight, whcih seems too "flat" in order to give some volume to the horse body, when drying will be sufficient. For exemple, the light intensity of the two sides is the same when one gets the light from the back and the other side in more in shadow...

I started painting two sides like you, it looks very exciting, because as light comes from the left, which is in the light on one side is more in the shadow when returning the flat !!

The metal is well treated , with correct lightings on the two sides...

This serie is very nice to paint !!! I'll have a look.....
