Does anyone want a Braunschweiger Zinnfiguren (Dr.Dangschat) catalogue? About 50 pages but be aware - Dangschat included a number of erotic/porn figures. Includes his Carmagnole, Ladies and Dandies, huge Britannia Rules the Waves set, Greek Independence, a lot of figures of Napoleon and his Marshalls. Free to anyone who wants it.

Have a look in the dropbox. I have started to clean them up but haven't got very far yet, only done the Britannia Rules the Waves set and the Sommertagstraum im Englischen Garten set. I like his figures, they have character, but not so impressed with his erotic figures.

Great thanks sir. I have a copy of part of the catalog but, not this large - it will nice to put in the archives!

......but is Mr. Dangschat alive? Does he still produce something? Is he contactable? :D
-
Dear Angelo,
I dont know whether he is alive or not, but his moulds are mostly or partly sold to other editors. I have seen that Benedikt Widmann has offered some of the "Britannia rules the Waves" on German - Ebay in the last weeks,
and some other Editors have bought Series like Schmalkaldener Zinnfiguren, Zinnfiguren Fleesensee and Mr. Wilken. I dont know all the new owners, sorry.
The catalog is interesting in itself because you can see the very personal style of Mr. Dangschat and as below said, the special Character of some of his figures.

I think some of his sets have been broken up sadly. Here is a selection of his 'Britannia Rules The Waves' set collected from his catalogue. I always liked his 'Ladies and Dandies' set of Regency figures, based on caricatures and cartoons by Gillray, Rowlandson and Cruikshank. I will add a picture in my gallery. His range was quite extensive, the catalogue is 50 pages, but scanned and enlarged to A4 size is 200 sides of A4.

Added the Ladies and Dandies to my gallery. The Royal Mail Coach is from the Fechner catalogue.

Mr Dangschat passed away some years ago.
A substantial part of his figure range is now with Fleesensee Zinnfiguren.

The moulds of "Britannia rules the wave" were for sell through Mr. Wilken. Any idea if the moulds had been sold yet?

Claudio,
that seems correct. Yesterday Benedikt has offered some additional "Sealords" on German Ebay, never shown before on his profile.
It is good to see their are available again, nice figures.

Well I think you guys have already sussed out the "Britannia Rules the Waves" moulds are now owned by Benedikt at Jupiter Minitura
The figures are now being cast and getting ready for sale, great figures and even if you just have some of the big set their well worth it to any collection, highly recommended ;)
