I once saw Walter Fischer at Kulmbach, and he showed me an amazing version of Mohr's Walpurgisnacht series he had painted. The figures, dancing in the firelight, had orange highlights and almost black shadows. I have tried to emulate this, but failed miserably. Does anyone have, or know where to find, photos of these?

Wow extraordinary work on a very difficult set to do well. This is unbelievably good stuff. Thanks for putting them up!

P.S. I got a kick out of the strategically placed hat and paint palette on the figures though apparently bare breasts are ok. ::)
