Sorry Mike, big mistake.  I saw it once in Champagne some 15 years ago, driving 450 km to be in the total dark zone = it is a fantastic experience to have i your life !!!!  But you have a second chance in 2024 !!! still.
Don't miss it ...  I saw amso a lunar eclipse in New eeland in the years 1975-800 = to see the number of stars multiplied by 10 in the sky !!!!

In the midst of an Eclipse here - Portland Or - which goes almost total in 30 minutes.  Have to paint fast to capture night time effect...


Interesting the excitement this has caused in this area, about 1 million visitors in the state!
