Tutto soldatini n.56, dedicated to flat figures
(1/1)
marko:
Very nicely put together, a large number familiar - and beautifully painted figures, many Mohr, Wimor pieces with some familiar painters and new names, articles on history, painting, step by step, engraving etc. Quite nice if one knows Italian - I do not - but, regardless enjoyable just for the pictures.
(I will have to do a little translation - there are several articles that look quite interesting particularly Gianpolo Bistulfi's Fashion from the 16th to the 18th century. This is a favorite period and Gianpolo's work is wonderful.)
It comes in at about 65 pages so there is a lot to look at.
Thank you for the link and the notice, I was aware of Soldatini but, not this version.

Thank you for the heads up and link!

Super ! Italian language is not a problem for an European who learned latin and greek at school.
Only I stopped using amazon years ago, for buying directly from bookshops, less polluting the planet in transport and cardboard. Maybe when coming to Torino in March....
