Super nice looking.  I like the painting of the caparaçon very much!

Note: is it the light reflection of the horse on the armour which makes that one knight is bluish and the other like the robe of the horse?  (MDR)

Hello,
here are two more figures for that. Two unidentified burgundy banners which had be captured at Murten by the swiss. I simplfied both banners a little bit.

The left figure is edited by Mr. Lehnart, the right one by Mr. Dangelmaier.

Thanks.

At the moment I´m paintings some more figures for that. Some more tents as well. So I think this is goinig to become a nice line up showing a small part of the burgundy camp. The duke will be the centre point and around him his troops preparing for battle and and marching off towards the Swiss troops.

Thanks Christoph for these explanations, very logical.

One small comment: your horse visually seems to have two back legs on the same side !!
I would suggest you to darken the secnd from the left as it is on the other side of the body and therefore darker than the right leg in the light....

Hello,
thanks to you for your comments.
Generally I can say that I developed my style for a person which is some space away when watching the figures. In a photo of a single figure it sometimes shows a bit heavy. But you have to keep in mind that these are 30mm figures which presented in the end a s a group. And if you had a look at the last picture, the one with the tent, I think it works quiet well.

So here is a new figure for that project. It`s from the Blum set of the battle of Murten, these figures are not easy to find so painting the figure was like drinking a rare bottle of wine (sometimes it´s really strange what comes to my mind...)
This figure was drawn by Mr Mohr as well as some other figures of that set. It´s interesting the horse is quiet heavy, a bit more then a work horse then a normal riding horse.
