There are a lots of books that are printed on the Royal Navy but this is outstanding in regards to the different ships in the History of the Navy. It is a Blandford series composing to volumes  wood and Iron. Does anyone  of are French members know what is going on with Histoire & Collections  ??? Every time I go onto there web page I get that they are off the web and reworking it :o I tried Casemate  in the states and they told me that they had changed owner ship. :o Also that some of there books they where advertising would not be sold here in the states. I was able to pick up a old book Military Bands and there Uniforms. It was printed in 1978 by Blandford Press. Some good information about bands. Willie

Well it came today The War of the Triple Alliance,or the Paraguayan 1864-1870 by Gabriele Esposito.  One of the longest Wars in South America and one of the most deadliest wars in the 19th century. The art work is out standing  :o done by Giuseppe Rava who has done illustrations for Osprey. Printed by Wing Hussar Publishing. I have another one of there books about the 30 years war. They did a outstanding job on this. I hope this is the start for bigger and better books from them. The following countries are covered Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay. Along with the Osprey Men at Arms Series on this period of history you can paint a lot of interesting figures.  :o Willie
