I started exploring more ambitious dioramas within a limited depth. This led me explore cutouts to get the pieces that I wanted. African Safari was the first one, followed by the Titanic.

Hi Victor,
I am deeply impressed your 3 dimensional creations.
I would be glad to get some explanation about the African Safari - which ones are flat figures and which parts are photos!?
Anyway I like them both.
Nice work!

Thank you, Victor, in the meantime I've found your explanation in your last mail.
Since I read the posts in time order. that's why I missed it before!

Hi Sandor.
Thank you for yr kind comments. These two dioramas only used cardboard cutouts. I made photocopies of suitable images and cut them out. No zinnfiguren. The animals were images taken from the internet. The titanic was a large photocopy. The iceberg was a simple cutout and freely painted with water colour.

Good stuff, I particularly like the elephants.
Judging from show pictures, the diorama and shadow box is coming back a bit, they certainly add a fresh set of challenges.
Thank for sharing Victor.
