Zinnfiguren Flesensee has got some of the Timm-moulds. I can't say whether the Ottoman types too.

For Sale/Trade/Wants / Walter Timm's Turkish War Figures

I found the article in BFFS Journal 156 entitled "The Janissary Corp of Turkey" to be very informative. Unfortunately, I noticed that the additional information on where to get Janissary figures did not mention the figures of the German editor Walter Timm. I suppose it is because the writer did not know what became of these figures. They were last with FECHNER and were listed on pages 176-179 of his catalog. (See attachment.)

Doe anyone know who is the present owner of these molds?

To all my friends I want to say Hi now settled in and have a lot of books to talk about. So let’s start  Ospreys Men at Arms series. First German Troops in the American Revolutionary War # 2 they printed it . Next Greek resistance in World War II, ground tubes the Korean War  vol 1 is the North Koreans, The Red Chinese armies. Next is US Army and Marines. they offer few of a war that isn’t covered much uniform wise . To finish  is Wars in Central Europe from 1918 to 1921 The  Austrian Hungarian army  If you are Wargamer you have lots armies to chose from and well bring you up October . Not much  Helton & Company still weighing for volume 8 Louis XIV Wars . They also have other you would like. So  that’s it for now Willie

I am a museum curator with a special interest in toys.  Researching the purchase of two sets of toys in the UK by a particular family in the period 1825-1827 . They were referred to as the Turkish Musicians and the the Indians -I think these are likely to be flats . Has anyone any information on flats of this period which might fit these descriptions ?
Many thanks

Terrific issue. I especially enjoyed Jon Redley's article on the "unpublished Wellington's."

Maybe the Society will use one of Jon's drawings to create a new figure in 54mm. Or perhaps Jon will do a new drawing for a 54mm figure showing Wellington draping his Waterloo cloak over the shoulders of Lady Caroline Lamb?
