Figure Identification/Search / Re: ww1 and animal flats

The animals are pretty cool.  I am sure someone here will know for sure.

I am wondering if these are some type of a kids kit that allows them to cast their own figures.  I have seen a variety of these and this has a similar look to it.  Molten metal melted on a stove and poured from a sauce pan, what could happen.

Well done!
I particularly like the lights/shadows of the cuirass and the shines on the creases of the arms!
Some glitters on the eyes would even improve the gaze - I think.
Nice work, Mark!
What is the brand of the mentioned Pro Acryl paints?

I’m liking your work. I agree with the advice re more shade. Like you I’m more used to round figures and I have found that flats need more emphasis when adding light and shadow. I started off a little bit too subtle.
There’s no turning back now as Ed rightly says.

Hi all,
I’ve just finished this for tomorrow’s BMSS competition night. It’s my first attempt at using Pro Acryl paints and I am really liking them. They cover well and are nicely thin. I do need to work on eyes and my understanding of light/shadow but my skills are starting to improve. I’ve added photo’s from the journey as well. Any helpful comments and advice are really welcome.
