Title: Tournament Knights
Post by: John Hoffmann on August 15, 2023, 11:59:58 PM
Just received some wonderful knights.
I need some help in identifying the editors.
Some of the bases are triangular engraved MP with a number on one side, and L Fr (of course we all know who that it is) on the other.
Other bases are oval with TP and a number. The other side is MENZ
Who is MP? and TP?
Photo of the sets attached. ( I hope. Always screw this part up)
Thanks as always.

I believe a good number are Mullers tournament knights, they should be those with MP on the base - Rick Sanders indicates this was Middle Ages Portrait figure per Mullers listings.

I think the standing figures with the lance are Maiers tournament figures, the others are new to me but, I bet the brain trust will identify them all.

(Muller figures are nicely listed in Rick Sanders wonderful book.). The Muller knights are beautifully engraved and paint up beautifully,  Bistulfi’s site has some. Beautiful examples.

Nice acquisition.

Thank you for the info on the identity of the flats Mark.
I'm not familiar with Rick Sander's book. Where would I find that?
Bistulfi certainly does a super job of painting the knights, as usual.
Thanks again.
Cheers!
