Hallo friends of flats,
2015 will be a napoleonic year - 200 years battle of Waterloo.
So I think the painting project must be a napolenic theme.
For example one of the Gottstein figures or a Mignot figure of Napoleon.
We can ask the Plassenburg crew to make a special casting for us.

2015 there is a Napoleon exhibition in Omen/Netherlands, too.

Best regards

OK, back to my original question for next year's project. It seems pin-up girls are out, but what about something that is not locked into the 1600 to 1800s? Fantasy? Sci-fi? Ancient Greeks or Romans? Are there any small scale pieces based on Mucha's art? I will paint anything of course, but an expanded palette into other colors and pastels would be nice.

  Thanks Mark,  ;)
I had a look, all works fine, they are like a gold mine !

  Thanks Brian,
For the time being, I will focus on collecting some uniformology documentation, like Isabelle.  I don't know which one of the four flats you are sending to me, I will discover when back home.

Hello Brian, just reading the post today, can I participate ? (still in Turkey) , can you send me a figure in Belgium? It will be a pleasure to join this team, if time frame is giving me a few months indeed.

Glen them or someone else sponsor the next figures from the Forum project ????
Or what they did manufacturers want to convince this precious?
Or will even the prick swing and show their hidden talent? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

You see, only what nothing kostes auser a little talent and color humor makes it correctly.
 And yes, I am then again with it. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
best regards

Well, a follow-on to the previous ACW and Thirty Years War painting projects were what drove my question... I had the impression these were already produced pieces from Wolfgang. There are no issues with doing the same thing using a different historical era or fantasy subject. That said...

Brian's comment about getting away from the norm is a 'good thing'. I can do the design and drawing easily enough and 45mm, as demonstrated by the Napoleonic Pinup girls, is a good base for recognizable faces and other assorted details. Tasteful is foremost on the table, but being ladies employed by Miss Lilly's Tea Room and Pleasure Emporium, there will be one set of breasts and one visible derriere. Otherwise, late Victorian-era dressing gowns, corsets, bloomers, stockings and shoes. These will be demure sitting and standing poses; no 'in action' activity. The painter will have color options for hair, lingerie, etc. The pieces will be drawn as Caucasian, but one or two can be altered to represent Asian, Black, Hispanic, or Native American. There was no shortage of any of these in the Old West. Alternatively, these can be added later to flesh (ha!) out the set.

That's the gist of it. More details will follow later, but I was serious about my OPSEC comment. Can I post progress and further details here, OR do you prefer PMs/Emails?

Good advice, Willie!  :o

Looking forward to the project!

Glen
