Hello all. I have just added several figures to my growing collection of flats. I purchased 3 sets of 30 mm flats from Mauro Benini and I must tell you that I am more than satisfied with my purchase. The artwork, engraving, and casting are flawless, and each group comes with its own color reference material. There is not a single void or distortion of any kind in any of the figures, front or back. Shipping cost to the US was a little high but worth it. The figures were packaged extremely well and made the trip from Italy to the US with virtually no damage. I have included here a photo of one of the sets. This is good stuff and I hope Mauro keeps them coming.

Sorry about the photo not appearing. i have not been able to figure out how to up-load from Photo Bucket in this new web site. Can anyone help?
-
Hi Carlo, do you use an iPad or normal computer. With the iPad it's very easy.
Nice figures as you say

Hey Carlo,
Linking to Photo Bucket is not terribly intuitive. Here is how it works
A.) Log in to Photo Bucket
B.) You should then see your photos
[attach=1]
C.) Click on a Photo as shown in 1 in the picture above
D.) Copy the text shown in the IMG box in 2 to the Message box (3) in the picture
You are not really copying a picture but, creating a link to it in PhotoBucket, this is helping you do it while logged into Photo Bucket.

P.S. Hopefully my high end fancy graphic makes sense. There is a little better explanation in the FAQ section of this site:

Thanks folks. I finally figured it out.

May I ask where you ordered these from? Is there a website to visit? Thanks,
Steve

Sorry for the delay in responding. I purchased these directly from Mauro. He does not have a websitye but he does have a small catalog that I have in PDF format. If you like, I can email it to you.
-
Thanks. I found his email and he sent me the pdf. I am very impressed with the photo you posted and with the catalogue. What other figures did you purchase? Is there a possibility you could post photos of them also?
-
sure thing. I purchased sets 2, 3, and 6 and will post photos of the other sets this weekend when I will have some time to shoot a few pics. Buying the three sets at the same time makes the shipping fees more palatable. I'm now thinking about picking up the rest of his collection.

Here are two more photos of the 30 mm Benini sets numbered 3 and 6 that I recently purchased. I tried to emphasize a strong side-light so that the engraving detail stands out. These small groupings are based on Italian artwork of the renaissance era, subject matter I find a little unusual and very appealing in flats.
Mauro's email address is studiobenini@ing-maurobenini.191.it. His catalog is in PDF format.

Hi all
I had posted also a review about these figures on the old BFFS forum. And yes they are one of the best I've seen
-
Yes I saw you review on the old web site. It is what prompted me to obtain a catalog from Mauro.
