Title: The Pontlatzer Bridge 1809
Post by: böckchen on January 29, 2018, 03:30:56 AM
Yes it's been an eternity ago, but nice invitation to report due to brain me, I want to follow here. Today I would like to introduce you to a diorama project in which I was also allowed to participate.
So a diorama with 30mm figures above the Tyrolean peasant uprising and the events on the bridge Pontlatzer 1809 emerged.

- The starting point was a well-known picture.

- Thomas Rath, painted the figures, design and organization of the box with lighting
- Frank Hartmann, special reconstruction of figures and military history consulting
- Jörg Hensel, the background - backdrop
- My job was to put the bridge, river and landscape into one
To set Canyon Creek Scenics.
Too bad! Unfortunately, we were limited by Thomas participate in the dimensions 50x80 cm. we were again forced to improvise.
Here are pictures of the module of the bridge with the river bed.

After the module had found his place in the Dioramenlantschaft, the transitions wuden closed to the remaining foundations and it could be the landscape gestalltet.
The figures were anschlißend set to the finished underground. Here, the pencils of the figures is used.
That is, everything that brings the figure to a halt is weggeschitten, are left only the footwear. Subsequently, with a two komponetigen adhesive thin nails with a supernatant are of 1 cm adhered from the back.
So later, the figure can be inserted by means of a nail on the Untergund.

And here we come on to the final.
You can also talk about a wedding, in which the diorama area is merged with the horizon and surroundings, to one!

Both the figures and he diorama are excellent!
I like it very much.
Even the background paintwork (Tannenwald) is beautiful!
Huge work - but well-done!!

Thank you for your interest. :) :)
Stay curious and excited.
I will also write a lot to the mounting details.
How to prepare, for example, figures for an installation in a pre-designed landscape. ::) ::)
