Hi Bob
Interesting topic
I said Heinrichsen because of the base and scale; but I will try to check
If it is a Gottstein it would be a very early one

Hello Eric
, Just seen your figure of Cleopatra, and see that you attribute this to Heinrichsen.
I recently bought the same figure with factory painting as a Heinrichsen but, have been contacted by henrytschoerch@gmx.de who is preparing an article on this figure as he maintains that it is a Gottstein  for which the mould has been lost. I have not found this figure listed in any information on Heinrichsen that I have (which is little to say the least) perhaps you have information that confirms it as Heinrichsen.
Would appreciate your view
Many Thanks

Both recent paintworks are excellent (I mean the Sun King for the other)
I like the face of the king as well - you caught the character according to the original painting quite well.
Best regards-

Back to small scale (28mm) and a quick painting for this small Heinrichsen figure
It was an old casting with rather poor quality but very cool to paint
